Pulse Utilities New Zealand Limited is the parent company of Pulse Energy, an independent electricity retailer and Pulse Metering Limited, a specialist metering company.

Pulse Utilities New Zealand Limited was listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange – on the NZAX Board in November 2007.

During the last seven years, Pulse Utilities has developed its specialised smart metering technology and software to accompany its smart meters. This technology gives Pulse Energy customers the knowledge to make informed choices about their electricity consumption. Customers of Pulse Energy can save up to 15% off Pulse Energy’s standard variable rate by altering how and when they use electrical appliances in their homes.

This time-of use metering system has been packaged to target a range of customers including multi-tenanted apartment and office blocks, small businesses and residential homes. Pulse Utilities is currently building strategic partnerships with electricity generators and lines companies who will use our electricity retail systems to interface with their customers.
